Albany Empire Goes Greek!
ALBANY, NY - Meet a player and grab lunch! Several players from the Albany Empire will be volunteering at the St. Sophia Greek Feast this Saturday from 12pm-1pm. Players will be running pick up orders out to cars and meeting fans as they do so. They will also be wearing Empire gear to be easily recognizable to fans.
"It's really important to give back to the community in any way we can" said head coach and acting general manager, Tom Menas. "All of the proceeds from this festival go back to the church so it's exciting for us to do something to help too. Not to mention, it's a great way to meet the fans. We want to leave our mark on the community and this is an excellent way to do it!"
The St. Sophia Greek Feast will be open for drive thru pickup May 14th 4-9pm, Saturday May 15th 12-8pm. and Sunday May 16th 12-6pm.
